Schlumberger Trainees Return to Complete OPITO Level 3 Training Diploma at TPO

Muscat, Oman: 

Takatuf Petrofac Oman (TPO) is delighted to announce the return of 16 trainees from Schlumberger, following an extended period of On-Job-Training on site at Block 60. The trainees have returned for a 9-month period to complete an OPITO Level 3 Training Diploma in one of the Process Operations, Mechanical and Electrical/Instrument Maintenance discipline routes.

The Schlumberger cohort previously completed 4-months intensive training at TPO in 2021, and successfully completed their technical training to achieve the City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 qualification in Performing Engineering Operations. 

Mr Andy Morris, General Manager of TPO, stated that, “We are always proud of the success that our trainees achieve. The trainees worked very hard to gain their City & Guilds Level 2 qualification and we are seeing the same levels of commitment and dedication as they embark upon their Level 3 programme.   Their success also reflects the faith that companies put in TPO to train their staff safely and successfully.”

The Schlumberger trainees are due to return to Block 60 after graduating from TPO at the end of 2022.
